Tate Reeves for Lt Governor

Yall Politics Tate Reeves officially throws his hat in the ring for Lt. Governor:

"Mississippi Treasurer Tate Reeves will launch a statewide tour next week to announce his campaign for Lieutenant Governor.

The initial announcement tour will include ten stops throughout the State of Mississippi to take place Monday, February 7th through Wednesday, February 9th. More campaign events will be held in cities across the state in coming weeks.

“I’m running for Lt. Governor to fight for policies that will make our state the best place for small businesses and entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, innovate and create jobs,” said Reeves. “We need an outsider as Lt. Governor – someone with a private sector background who has training in economics an d experience managing money. As Lt. Governor I will continue to act as a watchdog for taxpayers and will always put Mississippi first. My top priorities will be improving public education, making state government more efficient and accountable and creating the best possible environment for creating new jobs and economic growth.”"

Tate Reeves will be making a stop in DeSoto County. You can meet him at Old Style BBQ (8920 Expressway Dr) in Olive Branch, Monday, February 7th at 11:00 AM.
